My journey began in London in 1992 when I trained as a Reflexology Practitioner. During the years that followed I witnessed how this ancient therapy brought about significant , positive changes in our physical health and emotional wellbeing. I was hooked!
In 2002 my direction turned towards teaching Reflexology, particularly within the Disability Sector. I was approached by my local council to create and deliver a new ‘Natural ways to wellbeing’ course specifically aimed at adults with learning and intellectual disabilities. I incorporated all of the skills and knowledge that I had learnt into my courses; meditation, reflexology, aromatherapy,
mindfulness etc. The courses were a huge success! I had found my second passion in life…. To
educate and empower people, enabling real improvements in their health and wellbeing.
Since settling in Perth, Western Australia, in 2005 I have developed my teaching career further
working with Endeavour College and Central Tafe. In 2012 I created Perth School of Reflexology,
with Karen Bishop, and are accredited trainers to the Reflexology Association of Australia. Today my
reflexology practice largely continues within the Disability Sector where I treat many clients with
varying physical and intellectual disabilities both at community based day centres and at my home
clinic.
